Sound-ish – Rósa Sigrún Jónsdóttir

Rósa Sigrún Jónsdóttir exhibits the work "Sound-ish" in the old fish oil tank at Djúpavík.
“I have often been to Djúpavík but in the summer of 2008 I entered the old fish oil tank and became fascinated with the sound effects from the long lasting echoes. Originally I was going to use old place names from the district around Djúpavík but as always the idea evolved and became something similar yet different.”

The exhibition is open from 18th of July until 20th of August.
